Originally a delicacy of North Korea, naengmyeon comes to Congeodle in August as a cooling antidote to the summer heat. The traditional Korean buckwheat noodles are lovely and chewy, and the soup is fruity and fragrant, enriched with beef brisket, sweet pear juice, mildly spicy kimchi, and shredded cucumber and radish.
“Cold noodles with beef in soup” is available for dine in and takeaway for one month only. Add just $6 or $9 (hot/cold) to its price of $68 for a refreshing Korean-style set including a cup of “Honey grapefruit aloe tea”.
